Amboula – Psarou
Amboula Psarou is an area between the resort of Tsilivi and Amoudi and is only 2 km from Alykanas. On the north east of Zante, this is an idyllic and uncommercialised area, still retaining a traditional Greek feel. This is a quiet corner of the island, with panoramic views over the Ionian Sea and across to the nearby island of Kefalonia , anyone in need of a place for contemplation, relaxation and to feel at one with nature would be hard pushed to find a more beautiful place. Amboula- Psarou has a friendly village atmosphere and although it does not have all the facilities of a main resort, everything one would need can be found here (mini markets, bakery and a Greek taverna) and it is not too far from larger resorts. There is a pretty, secluded beach with soft sand and crystal clear water – a wonderful spot to swim and sunbathe. The surrounding countryside is ideal for anyone who loves walking or cycling.
