Vassilikos
Vassilikos is more an area of Zante, in the south of the island than a specific village. It is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Zante, with some of the best beaches on the island – the ideal for any beach lover. The beaches include Agios Nikolaos beach, Banana beach, Gerakas, Porto Roma and Porto Zorro. Many have watersports and all are beaches to spend the whole day at sunbathing and swimming. There are a few bars and tavernas to be found along the coastal road through Vassilikos and these offer magnificent views over the Ionian Sea and across to mainland Greece . A car is essential to fully explore and appreciate this region.
