On the island of Zakynthos, on a small hill overlooking the wonderful bay of Keri (turtle Bay), is the Restaurant LA BRUSCHETTA,
the best Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria of the island. LA BRUSCHETTA combines the pleasure of good food with the enchanting panorama of the blue Greek sea surrounded by olive and cypress trees. The owners of LA BRUSCHETTA, Nino and Lea, manage
the restaurant; they built it and improved it over years, making it
simple and elegant at the same time, and creating a special
atmosphere, where Greek nature meets Italian food and music. Nino, a professional violinist, selects beautiful background music and he sometimes organises classical concerts in the town of Zakynthos and in the restaurant. To reach LA BRUSCHETTA from the town of Zakynthos, follow the road to KERI around 17 km and after passing the junction to Limni Keri, turn left on to the road for MARATHIA; the restaurant can be seen on the small hill above. |

LA BRUSCHETTA offers a large selection of hors
d´oeuvres like ham and melon, mixed hams and cheeses, jumbo-size
salads, "stuzzichini" (appetisers), grilled vegetables and,
opviously, bruschetta toast topped with tomatoes, olive oil etc.). First courses can be choosen from classical Italian pasta dishes - Carbonara, Amatriciana, Bolognese - and the special home-made stuffed Pasta. Pizzas are the Classical Italian ones, garnished with tasty Greek ingredients olives, vegetables, olive oil; the aroma of the olive and cypress-wood oven gives them a unique taste. The desserts are all freshly made, from the famous Tiramisu or Panna Cotta, to different Mousses and Ice-cream Flambé.
