    » Greece: Civil servants to join teachers' strike tomorrow.

    The civil servants, like the teachers, are seeking a wage increase and they expressed their support for the teachers. Tomorrow is a fitting day for the teachers to hold a rally as it is also World Teachers Day. Primary school teachers have been on strike since Sept 18th and were joined by High School teachers only two days ago. The high school teachers are currently in negotiations to see if they will continue the strike.

    Bank workers may also strike for four hours tomorrow as they too want a pay rise, and have some concerns over plans to extend their working hours.
