» Family pay 4,000 pounds to save zante dog
Published 2007-04-18
Paul and Elaine Evans say the rescue operation has cost them £4,000, including a round-trip of about 2,500 miles.
But the couple and their 11-year-old daughter, Alice, say the adventure was worth all the effort and every penny it cost them.
The family met Bea, a scrawny Greek hunting dog, when they went to Zakynthos last July.
